Business Unit Manager (m/f/d)

Mobility+Services Trade Fairs
Starting from April 1st, 2024; permanent;
40 hours per week / flexible working hours


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You see yourself as a driving force, have a strong host mentality and are familiar with the challenges of the mobility industry and related industries.

You are passionate about the event business and develop sustainable solutions to inspire your employees, customers and network.

You will have full responsibility for the revenue and results of the trade fairs under your responsibility.

These currently include the
InnoTrans, the IZB of Messe Wolfsburg in its own legal form, and the CMS - Cleaning Management Services.

You will dedicate yourself to the following tasks with passion and thus make a significant contribution to the success of the business unit:

Responsibility for the successful implementation of mobility trade fairs by the respective trade fair teams and other assigned company events, including budget and results responsibility, event management and key customer support, as well as association work

Optimization of utilization and processes in your own business unit as well as exchange, learning, knowledge management and moderation of best practice sharing both within your own area and across departments

Networking with relevant committees, institutions and events in Berlin and beyond

Management of the department with several project managers and currently around 30 employees in the business field, as well as collegial sparring with the team leaders in the Mobility+Services department
