The city of Rosebud, MT is looking to fill the position of First Deputy Mayor and City Treasurer (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

The incumbent will also serve as the general representative of the Mayor.


The appointment will be made as a temporary civil servant for a period of 8 years in pay grade A 15 (LBesG NRW).

Upon reappointment, a salary in pay grade A 16 is possible according to current regulations. In addition to the salary, a monthly allowance will be paid according to the remuneration ordinance NRW.


The responsibilities include leading the Department II, which includes the Office for General Financial Management, including payment processing, the Registry and Ordinance Office, and the Fire Department and Rescue Service Office.

Changes to the departmental distribution and the addition of further areas of responsibility are reserved.


We are looking for a determined, responsible, and assertive individual with a strong commitment to shaping a citizen-oriented and digital administration.

The willingness to work closely with the Mayor and political bodies is a prerequisite, as well as the ability to lead employees cooperatively and performance-oriented.


Extensive knowledge of municipal budget law, business administration, and several years of leadership and administrative experience in a responsible position, ideally in a municipal environment, are required.

Professional experience in other areas of responsibility, especially in the field of fire department and rescue services, is desirable.
