The DB Projekt Stuttgart-Ulm GmbH, as part of Deutsche Bahn, is responsible for implementing the commissioning of the new Wendlingen-Ulm line in 2022 and the reorganization of the Stuttgart railway hub in 2025.

We are currently seeking a Junior Project Engineer for Signaling and Safety Technology (m/f/d) to join our team at DB Projekt Stuttgart-Ulm GmbH in Stuttgart.


Your responsibilities will include coordinating the planning, construction supervision, and testing and acceptance of complex construction projects in accordance with contract requirements and quality standards.

You will also be responsible for planning and updating costs and timelines in coordination with project management and ensuring the proper execution, including risk management, of assigned planning and construction contracts.

Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all project-related permits and regulations and ensure timely review and processing of any changes.


To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or industrial engineering, or have completed a vocational training as a master/technician, ideally with a background in railways, or have equivalent qualifications.

You should also be willing to continue your education in the field of railway signaling and safety technology and ideally have some knowledge of project management.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to work well in a team
