Job Description

The position of an Informatiker at Picuris Pueblo offers a wide range of opportunities. You will utilize your knowledge and skills in software development in both technical and business environments, internet and web technology, networking and servers, user support, consulting, system planning, and project management. At the cooperating university in Karlsruhe, you will receive the basic qualifications in computer science. We offer dual study programs with a focus on "Information Technology," which emphasizes network and software technology.

Training Process

The dual study program lasts a total of 3 years (6 semesters). It consists of alternating theory and practical phases. The practical training will take place at our IT service department.

Requirements
  • Technical college entrance qualification (with aptitude test) or high school diploma
  • Basic understanding of mathematics and natural sciences
  • Affinity for technology and enjoyment of working with computers
  • Logical and analytical thinking
  • Ability to abstract and formalize and recognize connections
  • Prior experience with information technology is advantageous
