    The Role

    As a Lead Front End Engineer, you will help deliver the best digital experience for Workplace Investing's Enterprise Profile products while partnering with tech leads across the business unit. This includes driving the definition and implementation of best in class engineering solutions and enabling engineering excellence across the chapter. You will play a hands-on role in leading the overall technical implementations. You will partner with the Business/Product Sponsors, team leads and software engineers to deliver our new features.

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    • MUST have 7+ years hands on experience as front-end software engineer using modern JavaScript frameworks.
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in solution architecture, analytics, design, and development of enterprise solutions in multiple technology platforms, frameworks, and languages.
    • 1+ years of using Nx workspace and strong familiarity with monorepo
    • Currently working hands on with designing, building, and supporting high transaction applications
    • Bachelor's and/or Masters degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience
    • Ability to provide technical leadership, prepare design artifacts, and implement solutions for agile teams.
    • Ability to engage with multiple squads to prototype solutions, deliver architecture artifacts, drive issue resolution, and product roadmaps.
    • Ability to analyze business direction, understand the long-term vision, and quantify the risk/benefits in developing strategic technical solutions. Collaborate closely with the product owners and squads in technology evaluation, selection, recommendation, and configuration.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with product owners, architects, and software engineers. Seek opportunities to refactor business processes, improve user experience or perform capability rationalization.
    • In-depth knowledge of APIs, infrastructure, data architecture.
    • Demonstrated understanding of the agile development process and DevOps practices.
    • Experience in cloud technologies and practices, building and deploying applications using either AWS or Azure or both. Cloud certification preferred.
