As a Director of Maintenance in Forest Junction, WI, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the performance and cost results of multiple related units, including operational MNT Teams and MNT Engineering Team
  • Manage teams of professionals and managers in the maintenance department, and may also provide leadership to supervisors
  • Control resources and contribute to policy formation within your area of responsibility
  • Define KPIs and Controllingprocedures to ensure planned equipment performance
  • Evaluate, recommend, and drive equipment improvements to enhance availability, capability, and yield
  • Conduct equipment analyses to initiate improvement programs
  • Foster a strong partnership with our other worldwide Backend teams, as well as onsite with our departments in Warstein (e.g. Engineering, Production, Logistic, Finance)
  • Make decisions guided by resource availability and functional objectives
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent knowledge and skills may also be acquired through other means
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience in Production, Maintenance, or Engineering, with at least 4 years in a management role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and moderation skills
  • Experience in stakeholder management within a complex matrix organization, as this role requires constant alignment with multiple stakeholders
  • Ideally, experience in managing teams in shift work
  • Experience with organizational changes
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German
