As a Bilanzbuchhalter/in in Jensen, UT, you will contribute to the meaningful financial work of an NGO in international cooperation.

Our office is located just a 3-minute walk from Nuremberg Central Station. Remote work and part-time options are established and still possible.

As an international aid organization of the Jesuits in Germany, we support around 600 projects annually through our global network of partners in areas such as poverty reduction, refugee assistance, education, health, ecology, human rights, and pastoral work, mostly in the Global South.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will handle and record financial transactions using Microsoft Business Central (formerly Navision).


You will be responsible for:

• Ongoing financial accounting with creditors, grant recipients, banks, and cash
• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Execution of payment transactions and project fund transfers
• Cash management
• Occasional communication with banks and auditors
• Participation in account reconciliation and offsetting transactions with our parent organization
• Support in creating operating statements

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed commercial training
• Several years of experience in financial and balance sheet accounting
• Good German language skills (at least B2 level)
• Proficient in MS Office and experience with accounting software
• Reliability and team orientation
