Senior Grid Connections Manager

LOCATION: Frankfurt (Remote work possible)

LANGUAGE: German (At least C1 level)

SALARY: € €

Are you looking for an opportunity to establish a department and implement your own structure and processes?

My client is seeking a Senior Grid Connections Manager to oversee their grid pipeline in Germany. The ideal candidate will be located near Frankfurt, but remote work is also possible depending on qualifications.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Proactively and independently support large-scale solar PV projects throughout the development and construction phases with regards to all grid-related matters:

➢ Development Phase


• Manage the entire grid application process for solar PV projects in the country.


• Establish relationships with grid stakeholders, both public and private local grid network operators.


• Collaborate with the Solar Project Development Team to identify suitable areas with current or future grid availability.


• Provide technical assistance to Project Developers during the development phase of the project.


• Support technical planning for the grid side of the project, such as mast replacement and substation construction.

➢ EPC Planning and Construction Phase


• Negotiate and finalize grid agreements and necessary permits for the
