The Non-Profit Association for Social Services Herdecke e.
V. (GVS) offers social services in Herdecke on a private legal basis. The initiative was started in 1950 by the later mayor Otto Hellmuth.

The activities and purpose of the GVS are still supported and promoted by the city of Herdecke, which does not operate its own social facilities.

in Herdecke is the carrier of 7 day care centers for children, a large day care facility and an educational and counseling center.

For our day care center Vinkenberg we are looking for (m/f/d):

An inclusion assistant with 19 specialist hours per week

Responsibilities include:

Supporting the participation of a child in everyday kindergarten life
Documenting the child's developmental steps

You are the right fit for us if you:

Have an interest in making the topic of inclusion your professional focus in pedagogical practice
Have some experience in supporting and promoting children with special needs (not mandatory)
Bring dedication and passion for working with children and their families
Possess sensitivity and empathy for the children's living environment
Have teamwork skills, reliability and a sense of responsibility

The position requires a completed training as a:

State-recognized educator
Staterecognized special education teacher
Staterecognized social care worker with training at a technical school or in corresponding dual
