- The mission of the Sidewalk Program is to support the agency's goal by providing for the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible movement of people by making sidewalks safe and accessible for all pedestrians.
- Ensure pedestrian ramp upgrades are performed in accordance with required stipulations.
- Resolves issues found on site with direction from the Assistant Civil Engineers and Civil Engineers.
- Mark out locations for construction
- Evaluate and assess pedestrian ramps after construction.
- Create field reports for any issues that require immediate attention.
- Attend site meetings.
- Assist with the review of designs, plans, and contract specifications/scopes.
- Prepares engineering reports where needed.

Minimum Qualifications1. A baccalaureate degree in civil engineering from an accredited college. A degree in any other engineering area or in civil engineering technology is not acceptable.
