- Planning, preparing, conducting, and evaluating tests and experiments for the characterization and system integration of photonic integrated circuits for quantum communication systems
- Supporting the further development and improvement of photonic integrated circuits for quantum communication applications
Your Qualifications
- Excellent Master's and/or PhD degree in photonic quantum technologies
- Knowledge and experience in handling and testing photonic integrated circuits
- Experience in experimental quantum communication and key distribution (QKD)
- Experience in optical system design
- Programming skills (e.g. C/C++, Python, Matlab) for system control, data analysis, and simulations
- Strong personal commitment
- Teamwork, independent and responsible work style
