Technical Assistant (m/f/d)


to be filled as soon as possible on a full-time basis (currently 38.5 hours/week) for a project-based contract until August 31, 2025.

There is the option of extension.

Department of Plastic Surgery, Hand and Burn Surgery at
RWTH Aachen University Hospital has a broad range of content and methodological expertise in the field of tissue engineering.

Research at the
Department of Plastic Surgery, Hand and Burn Surgery (Department Director Univ. Prof. Dr. med. Justus P. Beier) is interdisciplinary and focused on cooperation with institutes of materials science in particular. We investigate the specific application of various support structures for in vitro and in vivo cultivation of adipose tissue.

You will support us in researching and characterizing different material properties and cultivating tissue types from human stem cells (mesenchymal stem cells from adipose tissue - ASCs), and work with us to establish the foundations for experimental application in animal models.
