We are currently seeking a dedicated
Psychologist** in part-time (20 hrs/week) on a fixed-term contract for one year.

The position is classified according to the in-house collective agreement, pay group II for support staff (social pedagogical specialist).

Your main responsibilities:

You will support our participants through targeted care and assistance in psychosocial, sociocultural, and economic aspects, _including the use of the concept of outreach social work._
In individual sessions, you will provide advice and support to participants facing problems, stress, and anxiety.
You will identify individual barriers and work together with participants to develop sustainable coping strategies.
Through regular contact with clients and cooperation partners, as well as collaboration with external local networks and aid organizations, you will create a good framework for your pedagogical work.
Administrative tasks and documentation will also be part of your responsibilities.

Your qualifications:

You have a diploma or master's degree in Psychology.
You have at least one year of professional experience in supporting job seekers in the field of SGB II.
You have uptodate knowledge of external support, counseling, and therapy services in the region, and can provide guidance for further treatments if necessary.
Ideally, you have experience and empathy in working with people with a migration background, as well as intercultural competence.
Good knowledge of English is desirable.
