Operations Manager for one of the largest salt bath hardening companies in Europe in Lake Placid, NY

  • We are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager (m/f/d) in fulltime position for our company "STAHLTEC Salt Bath Hardening GmbH" in Roßdorf. As one of the largest salt bath hardening companies in Europe, we specialize in the heat treatment of metallic materials and supply a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering, and toolmaking.

Your responsibilities:


  • Overall responsibility for production and related business processes
  • Ensuring efficient and highquality production while considering economic aspects such as costs, budgets, and resource usage
  • Continuous optimization of production processes to achieve higher productivity and efficiency
  • Leading and developing the team and ensuring smooth daily operations to maintain high employee motivation and job satisfaction
  • Maintaining contact with customers, suppliers, and other departments within the company to ensure smooth cooperation and maintain customer and supplier relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations, as well as handling business aspects such as accounting, controlling, and reporting to ensure the profitability and sustainability of the company
  • Acquiring new customers and orders

Your profile:


  • Completed degree in metallurgy, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable education/qualification in a materials science field
  • Several years of experience in managing a production company, ideally in the metal industry (an advantage)
  • Indepth knowledge of heat treatment of metals and
