Description

The University of Witten/Herdecke is the first German university in private ownership (founded in 1982) with over 800 employees and more than 3,000 students.

We are currently seeking to strengthen our team at the Department of Psychology and Psychotherapy.

The position can be filled in full-time or part-time (minimum of 10 hours per week). Upon agreement, employment as a psychotherapist at the Center for Mental Health and Psychotherapy is also possible.

Starting in the winter semester of 2023/24, the Master's program in Psychology with a focus on Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy (designed according to the new regulations for psychotherapists) will begin at the University of Witten/Herdecke. This program aims to provide research- and practice-oriented education in psychological and psychotherapeutic topics. An important component of the program is the Vocational Qualifying Activity III (BQT III), during which students actively participate in the psychotherapeutic treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. The scope of the advertised position primarily involves the outpatient BQT III at the university clinics of the Center for Mental Health and Psychotherapy (ZPP).
