Job Summary and Qualifications:

What qualifications you will need:


  • Valid California RN license
  • Current BCLS certification
  • National RN Certification preferred
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Bachelor of Nursing required or enrolled. Masters Degree preferred
  • Minimum two years in an acute care management position
  • Demonstrates a consistent disposition and ability to be objective
  • Participates in evaluation process and demonstrates ability to identify behaviors
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to assess staff needs and develop objective goals
  • Computer literate
  • Teaching/coaching skills
  • Leadership abilities / mentoring qualities
Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901.

It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County.

The hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and has a HeartCare Institute that offers both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.

Riverside has a Center of Excellence for Surgical Weight Loss and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which it is very proud of.
