Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

As the Senior Director of Connectivity, you will use your extensive knowledge of technology to elevate our internal network to the next level.

You will lead a global team of over 25 people across our IT locations and be responsible for the delivery and operation of our advanced IT Connectivity Infrastructure.

This includes overseeing Network LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Network Security for over 2000 retail and 1000 office locations.

You will serve as a technology expert and partner to all related IT and business areas within adidas on a global level.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovation
  • Manage the innovation pipeline and execute innovation processes.
  • Develop, evolve, and adapt innovation tools, processes, and infrastructure to drive innovation.
  • Identify resources and capabilities needed to support innovation.
  • Encourage and motivate innovation communities, teams, and individuals to share creative ideas and learn from failures.
  • Manage and facilitate communication and the flow of ideas between interested parties and the establishment of innovation networks and communities.
  • Research
  • Build on and refine ideas for the evaluation, development, demonstration, and implementation of research.
  • Contribute to research goals and funding proposals.
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data as needed.
  • Create research reports to communicate methodology, findings, and conclusions.
  • Present papers at conferences, contribute to publications, and present reports to clients
