The UH-60 Aircraft Mechanic II (A&P) will be responsible for performing maintenance and inspections on UH-60A/L/M systems, in accordance with FAA standards.

This position will be based in Fountaintown, IN and will require occasional travel to Illesheim, Berlin, Germany.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of maintenance tasks on military tactical aircraft, with a primary focus on UH60 mechanics
  • Repair and modify various Army and other DoD crossservice aircraft, including major assemblies, subassemblies, components, and related systems
  • Install, connect, and adjust complete systems such as fuel, heat, lubrication, hydraulic, engine, and transmission
  • Align and install fuselage parts, tail rotor assemblies, and flight control systems
  • Incorporate authorized modifications and changes
  • Conduct operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems using external power sources and ground equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, and make necessary repairs or replacements
  • Properly use hand tools, measuring devices, and test equipment specific to the aircraft models
  • Read and interpret technical data
  • Direct lowergraded mechanics and coordinate with other trades to ensure proper assembly of the entire aircraft
  • Maintain accurate records and forms related to aircraft maintenance
  • Perform additional duties as required
