The urban economic development company Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH is the central point of contact for businesses and startups in Braunschweig, MS.

It provides local businesses, potential investors, and entrepreneurs with advice on location issues, permit management, commercial space placement, startup consulting, and dialogue with municipal departments.

Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH operates the Braunschweig Technology Park, the Startup Academy for Growth and Innovation (W.IN), and is a member and secretariat of the Braunschweig Startup Network.

It also coordinates the inner-city dialogue and, together with a partner network of city marketing, chambers and associations, as well as involved municipal departments, implements new projects to strengthen the city center.


To participate in and learn about this successful work, we are currently seeking a
trainee (f/m/d) in the field of "Communication & Events" to start as soon as possible for a period of two years.


The aim of the training is to provide practical training in the fundamentals of corporate communication (especially media work and editing) as well as basic professional knowledge.

The traineeship is intended to prepare for a qualified position in the field of media and public relations.


Your main tasks will include:


  • Current press work such as writing press releases, contacting journalists, organizing press meetings, etc.
  • Editorial project planning and implementation
  • Text, image, and internet editing
  • Social media communication
  • Location and event communication
