    ABOUT THIS ROLE

    This position is responsible overseeing the construction loan pipeline, the reconciliation, termination, and remittance of escrow functions and investor servicing. Additionally, manages various tasks related to mortgage/commercial loan processing and the management of the credit unions loan portfolio. Fulfills loan servicing requests from members and employees in a timely manner and oversees sub-servers as needed. Works with third-party vendors to coordinate escrow renewals/cancellations, billing, and force placement of insurance. Additionally, manages services through Trustage related to Life and Disability services.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (in descending order of importance)

    1. Oversees and services the Construction loan pipeline.
    2. Assists in the funding of Residential, Commercial, and Construction loans.
    3. Oversees services related to reconciliation, termination, analysis, and payment remittance of escrow (tax) functions.
    4. Researches and fulfills daily mortgage/commercial loan maintenance requests from the Mortgage Department, Collections, Contact Center, and other departments within a predetermined time frame as designated by the department supervisor.
    5. Oversees and applies payments for services obtained through Trustage.
    6. Provides oversight and servicing of the Secondary Market functions.
    7. Oversees the product portfolio and lifecycles to conduct minor changes.
    8. Performs boarding and remittance of participation loans with our invested portfolio.
    9. Utilizes tact and experienced-based knowledge to resolve member (internal and external) issues, explaining specific policies and products while representing the Credit Union in a professional manner and maintaining positive customer relations.
    10. Assists in preparing and obtaining file for departmental related audits related to Loan Operations / Compliance, including the review of the completion of risk assessments within WolfPAC.
    11. Assists in testing new core system applications/modules as well as new releases for existing modules including performing release management, new products/services, etc.
    12. Assists management with ensuring appropriate procedures for all residential and consumer servicing functions are following all applicable regulations and laws.
    13. Analyzes existing processes to identify areas for operational efficiency using technology and automation.
    14. Ensures department is following all regulatory requirements including CFPB, Dodd Frank, Reg Z, RESPA, GLBA, Investor guidelines and department policies and procedures.
    15. Performs other loan servicing processes and clerical related duties as assigned by the Loan Servicing Supervisor(s) or VP of Loan Servicing.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education

    High school diploma or equivalent (GED) education required.

    Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

    1. 5- year prior experience in banking preferably with loan operations and includes knowledge of secondary market, and escrow remittance and reconciliation.
    2. Demonstrated knowledge of lending policies and procedures, laws, and federal/state regulations required.
    3. Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills required. Communicates clearly and precisely. Listens carefully and asks questions to clarify understanding.
    4. Strong member/customer service orientation required in alignment with the credit unions mission and core values required.
    5. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment required.
    6. Must be results-focused to support the achievement of corporate and sales goals.
    7. Ability to handle simultaneously, multiple tasks and changing priorities as well the ability to work independently required.
    8. Must be willing to participate in self-development initiatives, including attending department and organizational meetings, educational sessions, seminars, or courses as requested.
    9. Excellent organizational, analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills required.
    10. PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PPT), the Internet required.
    11. Some travel for training and or business-related reasons required.

    Ability to function in a financial institution environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to fax, copier, telephone, etc. Ability to lift minimum of 25 pounds.
