    Description

    Pinnacle Treatment Centers is dedicated to transforming lives and communities, providing care to over 30,000 patients daily across the nation. As a Counselor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of patient treatment, from admission to follow-up. Through comprehensive therapy, you'll address the underlying causes and effects of addiction, offering substance abuse counseling to patients and their families.

    Requirements:

    • CDCA or higher certification or licensure in Ohio
    • Various licensed positions available
    • Development plan required for counselors with less than one year of field experience

    Responsibilities:

    • Complete essential patient documentation
    • Provide orientation and support to patients
    • Assess and place patients in appropriate treatment phases
    • Update patient charts and documentation as required
    • Counsel patients in crisis situations
    • Arrange referrals to community resources
    • Conduct treatment plan reviews and case conferences

    Experience:

    • Development plan required for counselors with less than one year of field experience

    Education:

    • High School/GED or better education required
    • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred

    Licenses & Certifications:

    • CDCA required
    • LMFT, LCSW, LCDC III preferred
