    • Tuesday through Friday 6a-3p, Saturdays 5:15a-10a

    As a Counselor, you will manage all aspects of a patient's treatment journey. Your responsibilities include coordinating care from admission to discharge, providing therapy to address addiction causes and effects, offering substance abuse counseling including family and group therapy.

    Requirements:

    • CDCA or higher certification or licensure in Ohio;
      • Licensed Social Worker
      • Licensed Professional Counselor
      • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
    • Counselors with less than a year of experience in addiction treatment must work with their supervisor to attain competency before counseling independently.

    Responsibilities:

    • Complete patient documentation, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required paperwork following federal and state regulations
    • Orient patients to program objectives, rules, and regulations
    • Assess and place patients in treatment phases
    • Update clinical documentation and patient charts
    • Counsel patients in crisis situations and non-compliance cases
    • Arrange referrals to community resources
    • Participate in training and stay updated on regulations
    • Conduct intakes and group counseling sessions
    • Perform drug screenings
    • Submit reports to supervisor and attend meetings
    • Other duties as assigned
