Department/Responsibilities:


The Municipal Hospital Görlitz is an academic teaching hospital of the Technical University of Dresden and the largest primary care provider east of Dresden, a leader in the healthcare market, and the largest employer in the region.

We care for over 65,000 inpatients and outpatients annually in 17 specialist clinics, two institutes, and five subsidiary companies.

Our hospital has 634 inpatient and day treatment beds, as well as a wide range of outpatient services including extensive collaborations.


For our Center for Mental Health, we are looking for a Art Therapist (m/f/d) or Music Therapist (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Conducting group and individual therapies
  • Processoriented documentation
  • Participation in team and case conferences, previsit discussions
  • Proactively networking with other professional groups
  • Independent management and ordering of materials

Profile/Qualifications:


  • Degree in Art Therapy (m/f/d) (or equivalent) or training as a Music Therapist (m/f/d)
  • Practical experience in the field and enjoyment of working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Preferably several years of specific professional experience
  • Open approach to mentally ill patients and strong communication skills
  • Reliability, flexibility, good manners, friendly and confident demeanor
  • Enjoyment of independent work
