The district of Reutlingen is located in close proximity to the state capital Stuttgart and is part of the first biosphere reserve in Baden-Württemberg, known for its diverse economy and landscape.

At the district office, we are committed to promoting the well-being of people, nature, economy, and culture, always keeping the bigger picture in mind.

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual with organizational foresight to join our district youth welfare office as a
Youth Welfare Planner.

In this role, you will:

Strategically align youth welfare planning, including setting goals
Develop innovative, specialized, and needsbased planning and implementation structures for the entire district
Prepare qualified statements to further develop and promote youth welfare
Provide input for the conceptual implementation of legal foundations and advise cities and municipalities on needsbased services
Lead or accompany external committees in municipalities
Prepare proposals for relevant district committees, such as the youth welfare committee, to discuss and make decisions on youth welfare matters

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A degree in Social Pedagogy, Social Work, Public Management, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in the public sector
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
A solutionoriented, analytical, and interconnected mindset, as well as negotiation skills
A structured, conceptual, and teamoriented approach to work
Several years of experience in the field of youth welfare and project management, as well
