As a member of the Operational Risk team, you will work alongside Compliance colleagues to oversee the firm's operational risk management activities and provide independent assessment and challenge of business risk management practices.

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for independently overseeing operational risk management practices in various business groups, including Customer Onboarding, Payments, Servicing & Operations, and others.

This will involve collaborating with Business, Compliance, Legal, and other Risk colleagues.

Lead the Operational Risk coverage for selected products, fostering positive relationships with business stakeholders and promoting a strong operational risk management culture.
Represent Operational Risk in business working groups, assessing the risk impact of future implementations, and influencing riskbased decision making before program completion.
Independently assess change management processes and new business initiatives to identify risks, challenge the proposed control environment, and recommend approval (or not) of the initiative.
Conduct indepth reviews of emerging risk areas or potential control gaps to identify issues for the business to address; document and share analysis with business stakeholders.
Collaborate with global horizontal risk programs (e.g., Business Resiliency, Third-Party Outsourcing, Data Management) to ensure business practices align with firm
