Essential Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Assist in maintaining pay plan and benefits programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the CEO with internal and external clients.
  • Handle incoming requests and queries appropriately.
  • Assist in managing the CEO's diary, schedule meetings and appointments, and provide reminders.
  • Book and manage complex travel arrangements.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient documentation and filing system.
  • Produce reports, presentations, and briefs as needed.

Qualifications

  • Indepth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Experience handling Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) cases is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is preferred.
  • Work experience as an HR manager and/or personal assistant to a senior executive is preferred.
  • People oriented and results driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases is preferred.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Strong character and good communication skills to deal fairly, respectfully, and decisively with all members of the company.
  • Exceptional planning and time management skills

  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • A qualification as a PA is advantageous.

Pay:
From $65,000.00 per year

  • Master's (preferred)

  • Texas Workforce Commission claims: 10 years (preferred)

  • Personal assistant: 10 years (preferred)
