This management position requires a highly experienced professional Program Manager with a proven track record of excellence and managerial achievement.
The candidate will be an accomplished team leader and manager, with a strong organizational capability and ability to command respect from the talented teams he or she will help lead and coordinate.
This candidate will have proactive communication, so each individual team member remains aware of the timing and delivery expectations placed upon them and that critical issues are identified and brought to the attention of senior management with gauged advance notice.
The RoleLead and manage to an excellent standard through hands-on example.Create and play a leading role in the execution of an overall timing plan for our software/electronics integration and validation, including definition of main work packages and coordination of major releases.
Interact with and coordinate work between all Lucid team members developing or providing electrical/electronic devices for use in the vehicle.
Work closely with program management and team members in low voltage systems, Infotainment, ADAS, Chassis etc. to coordinate shared work.Facilitate product and functional/technical safety requirement and test case documentation, as well as architecture documentation (software, networks, power, etc.)Support tooling requirements definition and procurement in conjunction with supply chain.
Drive consistent and timely closure of program deliverables.Manage the definition and execution of major system integration event plans.
Clearly communicate program status to overall software organization, other program managers and executives as required.
Work with resource managers and technical leads to define the level of effort, resource requirements and summary timing plans.
Plan and manage test events, relevant test platform and vehicle build support activities, tooling/equipment development and bug/issue/risk activities in conjunction with resource managers and technical leads.
A passion for developing the best car in the world through excellence in integration and testing.QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of experience program/project managing large systems development programsA minimum of 8 years in complex embedded (software and electronic) systems development and integration.
A proven track record of delivering complex electronic products.Experience software and hardware development methods/workflows.
Experience bringing highly integrated software/hardware products from the early development phase to production.
Experience with/exposure to communication bus technologies (CAN, Ethernet, etc.), power management/distribution and the tools used to test, diagnose, and solve problems during integration.
Experience engaging, working and managing the output of third-party suppliers.Bonus Points:
Experience in automotive electronic systems integration and architecture.
Experience troubleshooting complex networked electronic systems.
Experience working with vehicle wiring harnesses.
Experience with test and build aspects of software development.
BS degree minimum in an engineering discipline (computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar).PMP certification preferred.
Salary Range:
The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors
