Department Overview

Electric Asset & Regulatory oversees electric system engineering, asset strategy, and risk management for transmission, distribution, and substation assets. The team uses a centralized, risk-informed approach to ensure consistent standards, work methods, and program sponsorship across the organization.

Position Summary

Join PG&E's Electric Analysis and Intake (A&I) Team as a Business Analyst, Career. The A&I team focuses on data intake, reporting, and tracking of electric-related incidents and evaluations. This role involves data analysis and proficiency in tools like Excel and MS Teams.

Responsibilities

Support investigation processes and collaborate with various teams
Analyze data to formulate recommendations
Track incident data and review findings
Prepare and deliver presentations
Communicate effectively with stakeholders
Develop relationships and gather feedback to enhance processes

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
2 years of data analysis or related experience
Strong presentation and communication skills
Attention to detail and thoroughness
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Desired Qualifications

BA/BS in Engineering, Business, or Computer Science
3+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, or Tableau
Ability to interpret complex information and drive actionable insights
Experience in project/program management
Lean Six Sigma Certification
