Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility and further development for strategic supplier management and continuous optimization of assigned material groups
  • Analysis and optimization of the existing global supplier network
  • Responsibility for the bidding process, contract negotiations, and subsequent awarding of contracts in coordination with project managers
  • Participation in improving and optimizing the procurement process
  • Preparation, execution, and conclusion of price and contract negotiations in project and series phases with national and international suppliers in line with the purchasing strategy
  • Participation in expanding activities in the area of supplier management "SRM"

Qualifications:

  • Completed technical or commercial studies or a successful completed commercial training with several years of purchasing experience in an industrial company
  • Experience in international sourcing and proven negotiation successes
  • Strong negotiation skills and a strong conceptual and strategic thinking ability
  • High technical affinity, combined with an always economic mindset
  • Teamwork and high resilience
  • Very good English skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Proficient in MS Office and good user knowledge of SAP/R3
