Hours of Work:
T_his position will work full-time (approximately 40 hours/week), standard hours 7:45 am - 4:30 pm. This position may also require work on the weekends._

Headquarters:
_This position is headquartered at the Risser Justice Center located at 17 West Main Street in Madison._


Position Summary:


As the Web Service Coordinator for the department, under general administrative review of the Bureau Director, this position is responsible for the administration, development and support of the department's internet, intranet and Microsoft SharePoint sites for the department.

The position will provide leadership of internal and external website standards and best practices, assist in the governance of department and division-wide internet, intranet, SharePoint sites, and components, and lead formalized assessments of requests from each division.


This position will work with all divisions to help coordinate projects necessary to maintain or enhance the department's internet, intranet, branding and SharePoint environment through new product deployments and custom features.

It will provide advanced level administration coordination, comprehensive website analysis and lead formalized assessments of the web needs of each division.

This position also trains and mentors authors and communicates new and/or changed policies and standards In addition, this position will support security, tools, and standards used to manage the department's social media environments.

Support involves multi-platform system implementation in a large, complex, and professional environment.

Customers include IS Systems Development and Technical Services, end users throughout DOJ and/or other agency, consultants, government, and private sector contacts.

This includes interaction with development personnel in the Bureau and throughout the department and state, other technical support personnel, vendors, etc.

Work is multitasking in nature, self-initiated and conducted independently.


Salary Information:

The IS Systems Development Consultant/Administrator position is in pay schedule 07 and pay range 32. The starting pay will be between $46 - $55 an hr. Pay for current or former state employees will follow the provisions found in the State of Wisconsin Compensation Plan. A 12-month probationary period may be required.


Job Details:


This position will be eligible to work remotely, reporting to the headquarters in Madison occasionally, including reporting on multiple consecutive workdays if needed.

Travel to the headquarters is not eligible for travel reimbursement.


Travel Requirements:
O_ccasional in-state and out of state travel will be required. Must be eligible to drive when required for travel._

The Department of Justice does not sponsor work visas at the time of hire or anytime during employment.

All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required Employment Eligibility Form I-9.

A background check, including fingerprints, will be completed on applicants prior to selection.


Qualifications:


Minimally qualified applicants must have experience in the following:

  • Experience implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting of departments internet, intranet, and SharePoint.
  • Experience coordinating projects and communications with new product deployments or custom features.
  • Trains/Mentors authors on system and policy updates.

In addition to the minimum qualifications, a well-qualified applicant will have experience in at least one of the the following:

  • Experience leading formalized IT assessments
  • Experience researching and analyzing technologies, services, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement, create specifications and implement.
  • Experience managing projects or lead project teams.
