The Department of Education and Development is seeking a student assistant for the project "Inclusion of Children on the Autism Spectrum in Schools" (INCLASS) starting in April 2024:


A Student Assistant:

40 hours per month

The position is located in Frankfurt am Main, in close proximity to the Westend campus.


The INCLASS project aims to develop three tools to support educational professionals in implementing autism-sensitive inclusive education: a digital training platform, a self-assessment tool for educational professionals, and a smartphone app for identifying individual barriers for autistic children.

The majority of the work can be done remotely, but there will also be on-site visits to schools for data collection and preparation.


Your responsibilities:


  • Conducting literature research
  • Assisting with project tasks
  • Supporting the preparation and implementation of studies
  • Assisting with data analysis and documentation

Requirements:


  • Enrollment at a German university, preferably in a program related to psychology, education, empirical educational research, teaching, or a similar field
  • Availability for approximately 10 hours per week
  • Good knowledge of quantitative research methods
  • Proficiency in common office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good command of the German language
