In each of our 12 counseling centers in the Archdiocese of Cologne, you will find a team of marriage, family and life counselors who all have training as marriage, family and life counselors and additional psychotherapeutic qualifications.

Your tasks:


  • Management of the counseling center, personnel management, budget control, quality assurance.
  • Ensuring the counseling goals set out in the basic regulations of marriage, family and life counseling in the Archdiocese of Cologne.
  • Participation in the leadership conference of marriage, family and life counseling in the Archdiocese of Cologne, counseling of the diocesan representative.
  • Representation of marriage, family and life counseling in important church and political bodies.
  • Conceptual development of the counseling center, monitoring and development of quality standards in counseling.
  • Networking and public relations for marriage, family and life counseling.
  • Partially: conducting counseling sessions with individuals, couples and groups.

You bring with you:


  • University degree in psychology, possibly proof of equivalent education.
