Job Summary
Under the supervision of Clinic Management, the Financial Coordinator is responsible for tracking, documenting, and obtaining insurance verification, benefits,authorizations, and referrals.
Minimum $22.63 Midpoint $29.99 Maximum $37.3- Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
Required:
Minimum two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience in a medical office.
Preferred:
Three (3) years of administrative or clerical experience in a medical field.
Education
Required:
High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
Training
Required:
None required.
Preferred:
Experience with authorization process.
Specialized Skills
Required:
Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills.
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job.
Ability to think critically; work independently; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; pay close attention to details.
Preferred:
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
