The City Planning Department is currently seeking a City Planner for the Department of Urban Planning (f/m/d) to start as soon as possible.
As the leading municipal planning authority, the City Planning Department sets guidelines for the future urban development of the state capital Wiesbaden.
The position is to be filled in the Department of Urban Planning, where you will work on all areas of mandatory urban planning as well as informal planning.
We are looking to complement our efficient team, especially in light of the development of important building plans, such as the new campus of the Federal Criminal Police Office.

- Independently drafting mandatory urban development plans according to the Federal Building Code (BauGB)
- Ensuring quality assurance in urban planning, particularly in relation to legislative amendments
- Preparing meeting documents and professional opinions, as well as representing planning goals to city committees and the public
- Ensuring public interests through urban development contracts according to the BauGB
- Developing tasks for externally commissioned specialist studies; awarding and supervising the work
- Creating urban design concepts as well as framework and development plans
- Coordinating and implementing urban planning projects and competitions
