Description

The CalSTRS Procurement Management Division is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst in the Information Technology Procurement Unit.


The Procurement Management Division serves as a collaborative conduit between the vendor community and CalSTRS business areas to secure competitive pricing from the most qualified providers to transparently fulfill the needs of our customers.

We endeavor to provide excellent customer service through teamwork, system expertise and support.


The Information Technology Procurement Unit works closely with Technology Services to develop and execute procurement, solicitation and contract documents for information technology goods and services, including the development and implementation procedures associated with procurement and contract activities.


Under direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent is responsible for independently providing analytical support on Information Technology (IT) procurements and contract-related activities, including the development of procurement and contract documents.

Every 12 months, based on performance evaluation, employees may receive a 5% salary increase until they reach the maximum salary for the position.

Telework Information:We offer a hybrid approach including in-office and remote work solutions with staff working on-site at our Headquarters in West Sacramento 2 days per week.

Background Investigation
