The position at a glance


Position scope:

This is a full-time position with a weekly working time of 48 hours based on a 3-shift schedule (Brandenburg model).

The position can also be filled with part-time employees with complementary working hours.

Your tasks

  • As a firefighter at the Osnabrück Fire Department, you will perform tasks in fire fighting, technical assistance, and emergency medical services.
  • In the area of fire fighting and assistance, you will be deployed as a team member, team leader, and machine operator on the fire department's vehicles.
  • In the area of emergency medical services, you will be deployed as a driver, depending on your qualifications, on the ambulance and emergency medical vehicle.
Your profile


You have the qualification for the career group 1, 2nd entry level, specialization fire department (formerly middle fire technical service), as well as at least the qualification as an emergency medical technician (m/f/d) with state examination.
