The milaa gGmbH is a 100% subsidiary of the Evangelical Diakonieverein Berlin-Zehlendorf e.V. and a cooperation partner of the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family. It is also a recognized provider of youth welfare services.
The services currently include the operation of two day care centers, care and accommodation in outpatient and inpatient living arrangements according to SGB VIII, work with the homeless, and support for refugees at various locations in Berlin.
The milaa gGmbH currently employs a total of around 150 employees.
We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Housekeeping Employee (m/f/d) for our reception facility in Groscurthstraße Berlin-Buch, starting immediately and for the duration of the facility's financing by the LAF.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the house
- Organizing and carrying out tasks such as changing linens, washing dishes, providing hygiene products, and documenting these tasks
- Cleaning and preparing rooms for new residents
- Managing washing machines and dryers
- Taking inventory and reporting supply needs
- Ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Responsible for proper storage of all goods
Qualifications:
- Vocational training or experience in housekeeping preferred
- Independent, reliable, and flexible work style
- Willingness to work, commitment, communication and teamwork skills
- Openness and tolerance towards refugees and their living situations
- Respectful and openminded
