Description

Head of Prevention and Health Promotion Department:
Salary level 15 TVöD or 14 TVöD if no specialist qualification is available

at the Health Office.

The department consists of the following areas:

Children and Youth Health Services
Speech Therapy
Social Pediatrics, Early Intervention
Dental Assessments and Support, Caries Prevention

Your responsibilities:

Management of a department with 70 employees
Trustful cooperation with the office management
Strategic development of the department and implementation of preventive and healthpromoting measures
Representation of the department's interests internally and externally (including cooperation/networking with public and independent youth welfare providers, birth and children's clinics, pediatricians, dentists, providers of therapeutic measures) as well as planning and moderating interdepartmental and crossdepartmental working groups (e.g. Action Alliance for Dental Health)
Coordination and cooperation with universities, professional supervision of research projects, transfer of findings into practice

Your profile:

Specialist in Pediatrics or Public Health, or with a Master's degree in Health Management, Health Sciences, Public Health or Psychology with experience in child and youth health care, or a licensed physician with relevant professional experience
Ability to lead employees in a motivating and goaloriented manner, as well as a high level of social competence
Analytical, conceptual and networked thinking combined with a high degree of creativity, persuasiveness, negotiation skills and assertiveness
