Description

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daytoday operations of the service department
Create and implement processes to increase efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability in the service department.
Set a clear vision for the Service Department to achieve targeted performance goals.
Hold daily and weekly meetings for the department, as well as 1:1s with individual team members.
Ensure the department has green CSI through building and maintaining relationships with customers and ensuring that they receive highquality service.
Oversee the Service Advisors and ensure that ROs are written up and closed out in a timely manner.
Manage and supervise the service technicians, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards and within established timelines.
Provide training to service technicians to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
Recruit, interview and train service staff; handle performance reviews
Create an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty
Develop and manage budgets and operating plans for the service department, monitoring performance and making adjustments as needed.
Maintain a high level of knowledge about the latest automotive technologies and stay current on industry trends.
Collaborate with other departments within the dealership to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
Monitor/control all warranty activity to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Ensure the Service area is customercustomer ready with proper displays and information
Other duties as required

Compensation:

Compensation will be in the $140,000 - $150,000 range with room for growth

Schedule:

5 day work week, Monday Friday. The service department is open on Saturdays but the dealer is fine with the Service Manager / Service Director working a Monday Friday schedule with advisors covering the Saturday shift.
