Training as a technical product designer - Arcadia, United States - Omega Dynamics
Description
As a Technical Product Designer at Hydro's Arcadia division, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom profiles for customers in both 2D and 3D.
You will specialize in product design and construction and work closely with the sales team to assess the technical feasibility of customer requests.
This includes determining the necessary tools for profile pressing, identifying areas for processing, and ensuring the profile can withstand the intended use by the customer.
Your drawings will serve as the basis for the final product on cars or window frames.The apprenticeship program lasts 3.5 years.
Your qualifications and profile should include:
- At least a good secondary school diploma
- Strong knowledge of mathematics, German, and English
- Creativity and technical understanding
- A desire to learn and make a difference in your career
- Teamwork skills and awareness of workplace safety
You will receive 30 days of vacation, special payments such as holiday and Christmas bonuses, and the option to use fitness studios, swimming pools, and yoga schools.
Our location is easily accessible by public transportation, and we offer apprenticeship exchanges with other Hydro locations and workshops for personal development.
