The profession

As a cook (m/f/d), you will learn how to prepare meals for a variety of different groups of people. At Dussmann Service, you will cook in company canteens of hospitals, nursing homes, kindergartens, and schools, among others.

What you will learn in your apprenticeship
  • Prepare and present different dishes according to a set recipe
  • Know the characteristics of different foods and use product-friendly technologies when processing them
  • Participate in creating menus and order the necessary goods
