The SCUBA Instructor/Assistant is responsible for assists classes, which includes all aspects of SCUBA instruction and certification.

What you need to know

Salary:
$20/Hourly

Position Details:
Frequent lifting or moving of equipment. Exposure to loud music.

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
No experience required

Required Licenses and Certifications:

Currently certified as a SCUBA instructor and as an Emergency First Response instructor
Complete training provided by the Aquatics Coordinator within 3 months of employment

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to work at a high level demonstrating professionalism while working within the wellestablished and highly regarded SCUBA program
Ability to work with all ages of students with varying abilities
Theoretical and practical knowledge of SCUBA equipment and its' maintenance

Responsibilities:

-
SCUBA Training - Works both independently and in conjunction with supervising SCUBA instructors. Assists classes, which includes all aspects of SCUBA instruction and certification.
