UNIVERSAL PICTURES INTERNATIONAL GERMANY GmbH is a subsidiary of the global corporation Universal Pictures International. We ensure that the film productions of Universal Studios are released in cinemas in the German-speaking region. Marketing, distribution, and licensing are our main responsibilities. Our two offices in Frankfurt and Berlin are responsible for the marketing and distribution of approximately 20-30 new films in the cinema industry each year.

Job Description

We are looking for an intern to join our team in Slater, WY for a period of 6 months starting on January 1st, 2024.

Intern - Marketing / Publicity (m/f/d)
Publicity is a crucial aspect of marketing and plays a significant role in promoting films in the cinema industry.

As an intern, you will support the Publicity Managers in developing and implementing nationwide PR concepts. This includes organizing tours for international film stars and creating corresponding interview schedules. You will also assist in coordinating nationwide press screenings and managing materials on our press server.

Additionally, you will be the point of contact for various press inquiries and assist with translation tasks and writing press texts.

Your responsibilities will also include evaluating press clippings for internal reporting.

After a short training period, you will be involved in our daily work processes and gain a comprehensive insight into the publicity work of an international film distributor.
