Description
We are seeking seeking a 1st shift packaging supervisor. Fast paced, multiple faceted (small order pack, large order pack) large volume


Your job responsibilities will include the following:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the shift
  • Ensure efficient and smooth workflow
  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of tasks

Focuses on driving Safety, quality and productivity.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Assist in hiring, training and orienting new employees
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed

Qualifications:

-
Previous experience in the food industry is preferred - 4-6 years supervisory experience required. Experience in both the
packaging side and production side of the business.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills for
    inventory management.

Bilingual a plus in Spanish, Cantonese or Portuguese.

  • Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.

Must be able to supervise more than 50 memebers

Schedule:

Hours: 8am - 5pm (cross over time with second shift supervisor)


Pay:
$50, $65,000.00 per year
