Position: Project Developer - Biomass

Industry: GreenTech | Renewable Energy Services

Location: Berlin, Germany

What to expect:

  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, set objectives, and outline strategies to achieve project goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as investors, government agencies, local communities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for biomass energy projects.
  • Budgeting and Cost Management: Estimate project costs, prepare budgets, and monitor expenditures to stay within budget constraints.
  • Procurement: Source equipment, materials, and services needed for project implementation, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Construction Management: Oversee construction activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
  • Operations and Maintenance: Supervise the operation and maintenance of biomass facilities, implement preventive maintenance programs, and address any operational issues.

What we are looking for:

  • Completed degree in mechanical or civil engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in project
