- Lead and direct staff and teams applying scientific principles to solve diverse research problems.
- Execute multiple cross-disciplinary computational research projects and programs.
- Stay updated with significant scientific advancements in all relevant areas of medical research, including translational research, and develop new projects and programs accordingly.
- Develop necessary technologies and protocols, assess projects and programs' strengths and weaknesses, collect processes, and interpret experimental data and model outputs.
- Lead the identification, initiation, development, and maintenance of internal and external research collaborations for research projects and developing new approaches to existing research problems.
- Write and review all aspects of preparing, submitting, and presenting research proposals, progress reports, manuscripts, and high-level programmatic reviews.
- Present research accomplishments and progress in programmatic review and appropriate scientific conferences.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor, including attending, and participating in required training for your role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in SAS or Tableau
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead research projects effectively.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Doctoral Degree in Psychology or Neuroscience or a related science discipline
- Minimum nine (9) years of combined experience in research psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral health initiatives in the military population.
- US Citizen with NACL clearance (able to obtain SECRET)

Summary:
Goldbelt Frontier LLC seeks a Research Psychologist II for the anticipated five-year contract. The ideal candidate for this position must have a proven proficiency in research design, statistical software, and grant writing. Additionally, the role requires building and maintaining solid relationships with stakeholders and colleagues, providing valuable consultation, and leading projects as a principal investigator. Combining disparate data sets to address specialized research projects requires robust data analytics and the latest statistical skills. The goal is to develop a clinical threshold scale for repetitive brain injury in military populations.
This position is located onsite in Silver Springs, MD with up to 10% travel to military sites as needed for data collection.
