The Lourie Center for Children's Social and Emotional Wellness, Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Preschool Administrative Assistant who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.


The Lourie Center for Children's Social & Emotional Wellness is a private, non-profit agency with a mission to improve the social and emotional health of young children and their families through prevention, early intervention, education, research and training.


As a Preschool Administrative Assistant you will:

  • Handle incoming telephone calls, directing to appropriate programs, staff members and voice mail boxes.
  • Greet clients, students and other visitors to Center and notify staff members of arrivals.
  • Provide annual countyapproved parent/guardian survey to clients to determine the performance measure for the front desk staff.
  • Collect and record payment of fees and update information such as new phone numbers etc. Follow appropriate procedures for handling of checks, cash, charges slips and insurance documents.
  • Send Authorization to Release Information forms to primary physicians in order to obtain medical records for new client medical records.
  • Order all office supplies; track supply of office forms and copy forms as needed; assist with copying/assembling tasks as required for all departments.
  • Utilize electronic medical records to schedule appointments, notify clinicians and other tasks.

Qualifications include:

  • High School diploma and 1 to 3 years of experience required.
  • Ability to handle multiline telephone required.
  • Comfortable working in an electronic environment, is required.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and remain congenial.

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
