We are looking for a Business Development Manager for Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) and Transportation-as-a-Service (TaaS), with a focus on autonomous driving.

This position is with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and is part of the newly established Autonomous Driving MaaS and TaaS (ADMT) company.

In this role, you will work closely with strategic partners and cities to identify and scale new business opportunities. This is a global role that will drive innovation for the entire Volkswagen Group.


Your responsibilities will include developing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for TaaS business development for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and the Group's brands.

You will also be responsible for evaluating TaaS business models and driving the development of new TaaS products and solutions based on customer needs and profitability.

Additionally, you will develop and implement a partner strategy with strategic logistics players, define the specific role and responsibilities for TaaS within Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and present decision proposals to the ADMT committees.


To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in business, engineering, IT, or a related field, as well as expertise and experience in urban logistics and TaaS.

Previous experience as a product owner and in business strategy is also required. Experience in the automotive industry, strategy consulting, or startups is a plus. You should also have experience working in an agile, non-hierarchical environment with a
