    Description

    Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant Teacher at Mid-State Children's Learning Center



    Summary:
    Assist co-teacher in designing age-appropriate works and planning curriculum for the assigned age group. Actively engage with children in their activities when required and encourage the development of emerging self-help skills. Maintaining a clean classroom environment according to directives and guidelines.



    Responsibilities:

    • Assist co-teacher in planning and implementing weekly, monthly, and yearly classroom curriculum and activities.
    • Work effectively and support team members.
    • Supervise children in care ensuring safety and respect.
    • Clean the classroom daily as per guidelines.
    • Maintain professional development hours and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Attend parent-teacher conferences and special events.
    • Hold CPR and First Aid certification.



    Experience Requirements:
    To qualify for this role, candidates must have a high school diploma, minimum hours of experience with children in childcare, and meet specific training/education options defined by the NH State Child Care Licensing Bureau.



    Skills and Qualifications:
    Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle physical and mental demands of the job.
