Here, you will have the opportunity to shape sophisticated connection solutions for our customers.
Your tasks:
- Collaboration in cross-departmental project teams for the development of new automotive data connector systems through technical consultation and identification of mechanical aspects to be clarified
- Structural mechanical design of plastic and metal components using FEM
- Design and simulation-based optimization of components in coordination with colleagues in R&D and neighboring departments
- Validation of simulation results with partially self-measured experimental results and interpretation of results from discretized computational models and projection onto real components
Your profile:
- Successfully completed studies (university/FH) in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, plastics engineering or a comparable degree program, alternatively completed technician with experience in the metal or plastics processing industry
- Simulation experience with Abaqus CAE or comparable programs
- Sound knowledge in the field of technical mechanics as well as stiffness and strength calculation
- Sound knowledge in the field of material science and material behavior of metals and plastics
- Experience in design
