Here, you will have the opportunity to shape sophisticated connection solutions for our customers.

Your tasks:

Collaboration in cross-departmental project teams for the development of new automotive data connector systems through technical consultation and identification of mechanical aspects to be clarified
Structural mechanical design of plastic and metal components using FEM
Design and simulation-based optimization of components in coordination with colleagues in R&D and neighboring departments
Validation of simulation results with partially self-measured experimental results and interpretation of results from discretized computational models and projection onto real components

Your profile:

Successfully completed studies (university/FH) in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, plastics engineering or a comparable degree program, alternatively completed technician with experience in the metal or plastics processing industry
Simulation experience with Abaqus CAE or comparable programs
Sound knowledge in the field of technical mechanics as well as stiffness and strength calculation
Sound knowledge in the field of material science and material behavior of metals and plastics
Experience in design
