Then apply as a Development Engineer (m/f/d) - Structural Mechanical Simulation at the international technology leader Rosenberger. Here, you will have the opportunity to shape sophisticated connection solutions for our customers.

Your tasks:

  • Collaboration in cross-departmental project teams for the development of new automotive data connector systems through technical consultation and identification of mechanical aspects to be clarified
  • Structural mechanical design of plastic and metal components using FEM
  • Design and simulation-based optimization of components in coordination with colleagues in R&D and neighboring departments
  • Validation of simulation results with partially self-measured experimental results and interpretation of results from discretized computational models and projection onto real components

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies (university/FH) in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, plastics engineering or a comparable degree program, alternatively completed technician with experience in the metal or plastics processing industry
  • Simulation experience with Abaqus CAE or comparable programs
  • Sound knowledge in the field of technical mechanics as well as stiffness and strength calculation
  • Sound knowledge in the field of material science and material behavior of metals and plastics
  • Experience in design
